Vanessa practices primarily in the areas of general litigation and personal injury.
Upon receiving her law degree from Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law, Vanessa returned to Alberta to complete her articles and begin her legal career at a downtown Calgary firm from 2016 to 2019. She joined Thornborough Smeltz LLP in 2020.
Prior to attending law school Vanessa studied conflict resolution through the Justice Institute of British Columbia while managing a private health club in downtown Calgary. She incorporates her conflict resolution training and experience into her legal practice.
